There are thousands of stars in the heavens and hundreds of different birds in the sky but there was only one Nancy Mazzella, and that's no lie.  Her outgoing personality and quick whit kept you on your toes and in stiches usually.

If roses grow in heaven,  Lord please pick a bunch for me and place them in Nancy's arms - and tell her they’re from me.

God speed Mom, your suffering is over.

Tom and I send our sympathy and our deepest love.  Nancy was so special.  She put up with us buying you two baby chickens one Easter and she and Sally also help prepare me for high school.  Her sweetness, talent and kind spirit will be missed.   Sorry we can't come in, however, our thoughts will be with you.


Any woman / mother that raised such an outstanding , warm , caring, supportive, smart individual as her son Bob had to be a knowledgeable and A strong person. Her determination to be such a good, nurturing mother says it all!!!! I wish I had the privilege of knowing her better. God bless her family for being with her during her illness.

There aren't enough words to express how sorry I am for you and for our family.  One of my favorite memories is when Lynn and I were little, and Nancy and Sally (we called them "The Big Kids") would ride on their bikes all the way from Glenwood in Detroit to our house on Normandy.  We would be so excited and surprised.  As we grew up, there was never anyone quite like her.  Nancy became like a big sister.  She was always happy, funny and wise.  I could tell her anything.  I love her so much and am honored that she was a part of my life.  She will be greatly missed.
