Paul was born March 20, 1958 in Detroit, son of Gabriel “Sandy” Sanders and Faith “Mary” Sanders. As a child, he spent time with his family in northern Michigan where he learned to love the outdoors, fishing, and hunting and made lifelong friends. As a teenager, he developed a variety of skills while attending Davis Aerospace Technical High School and working at a local sports shop. Later, Paul enjoyed working as a machinist at several companies over the years making long-lasting friendships with coworkers. Throughout his life, he amazed friends and family with his ability to fix ANYTHING. When Paul and Gale met, they immediately knew they were meant to be together and married on July 12, 1986 at Charity Lutheran Church in Detroit. They were blessed with two amazing children, their son Corey and daughter Julie. Paul shared his love for the outdoors and adventures with his family who learned from him how to hunt, fish, canoe/kayak, water ski, snowmobile and ride motorcycles.
