Disbelief, Shock & Sadness do not cover the many feelings going on in my heart. I just saw him before the holidays. Peter Drenchko has been my GYN doctor for 2 decades. He truly cared about his patients and took the time to make them know their life really mattered. I will miss all the updates on his boys who he was so Proud of & Loved more than I can put to words. They were his world. Dr. Drenchko's heart was broken when he lost his wife.. he really loved and missed her...I hope they are having a Beautiful reunion in Heaven. Prayers for his family & everyone who loved him! 

I was shocked to hear this.  I had seeen him in mid December and I told him he needed to retire at that time..  he was a great Doctor.  Very personable.  He will be missed

In complete disbelief. It saddens my heart to know he passed. He was an awesome and thural doctor. I don't know how I will be able to ever find a Dr like him. My prayers for his family. I love you Dr Drenchko you were truly a blessing from God above! 

What an amazing man.  I will so miss him.  He was the most professional caring Doc I ever had.  I am so heart broke his is gone.  He was always talking about his sons and asking about my family.  What a true blessing to know him.  God needed another wonderful angel, he was taken to soon.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  Such a great loss:(

I just received the letter and I was shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Drenchko passing.  I have only been seeing him for couple years, and every time I went in to see him, he was very compassionate and cared about what was new with my health.  He cared and listened and the treatment he suggested, always worked.  I will surely miss him.  My prayer's go out to his family.  RIP doc

When I opened the letter about Dr Drenchko's passing I was so shocked & saddened. He was my Dr for 20 years. He was so nice & we talked about our boys, which were about the same ages. He will be greatly missed. We are praying for the family during this difficult time.

I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Dr. Drenchko. He was a great doctor and person.  Nobody likes to go to the doctor, but he always made it a little easier.  He truly cared about his patients and you felt like he was a friend. There are not many doctors like him and I am saddened that we lost him at such a young age. My heart goes out to his family.

Dr.Drenchko has been my GYN doctor for so many years.Receiving the letter of his passing was such a shock..I just had my annual exam in Dec..with him...He was a wonderful doctor....Always showed concern for my health issues...I will surely miss him..

To say I was shocked when I received the letter stating Dr. Drenchko passed is an understatement. I had been seeing him as a patient for at least 5 years after switching to him from my doctor I saw for at least 20yrs. He was the kindest, welcoming doctor I have had the honor to have treat me. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful sons who he spoke of very often with love and pride, his family, friends and all those who were fortunate enough to meet him. I received a letter in the mail yesterday announcing his death.  He was a rare find in my book; a great doctor who listened and actually doctored.  I should be so lucky to find a replacement as good as he was.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends; a great loss indeed.

The sad news of Dr. Drenchko was such a shock.  His pleasant & professional manner was alwyas so appreciated.  I was a patient of his for many years.  He will be missed by so many. Dr. Drenchko a Great Doctor. He changed my life! I was looking forward to my next appointment. I wanted to Thank him for changing my life. I'm very sadden.

So very sad to learn of  Dr. Drenchko's passing. He helped me through a cancer situation and 3 other surgeries that truly improved the quality of my life. I will be forever grateful to him for his kindness and compassion. Since we were Harley riders, as he was, we also had a few lighthearted  conversations. He was so easy to talk to. I just learned of Dr. Drenchko's passing yesterday, February 14th, and am deeply saddened  my sincere condolences to his boys and family members. As many before me have expressed, he was an excellent physician and great educator to residents.  I was his patient (and fellow Henry Ford employee) for over 24 years and we always had such wonderfully warm, funny conversations about his boys and my son, our respective travels, work He was so very proud of you boys.  He had a very valuable gift of being a human physician and making his patients feel comfortable, and well cared for - a very exceptional physician and man.  This is a very big loss.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Dr. Drenchko's passing, he was my Dr. for 21 years, he was very kind and caring. He talked about his sons and was very proud of them. He will be dearly missed. My sympathies to his family.

My heart was broken when I learned of Dr. Drenchko's passing yesterday.  He has been my doctor for over 20 years, which seems to be a common theme in the postings by his patients.  That speaks volumes to the kind of doctor he was to maintain such longevity with his patients.  Though I only saw him once a year, it felt like it was more.  He always took the time to speak to me as a person, not just a patient.  He made sure you felt valued as his patient and always offered sound medical advice.  We always chatted about travel destinations and teaching, which we had in common.  My deepest sympathies go to his sons, his family, and his friends.  He will be missed.

Wow,  didn't expect this.  I always dreaded the day you were to retire.    My awesome Dr. of 24 yrs.   You really took the time to listen and diagnose from there.   So medically smart and equipped, combined with hands on knowledge and understanding.  You just 'got it'.     I will miss seeing you in May.   My fellow March 26th birthday celebratory, Aries guy. I'm so saddened to learn Dr Drenchko has passed. He completed my surgery 3 years ago and I was so scared but he helped me and my family feel at ease. I was just thinking I was going to make an appointment with him this spring and just received a letter in the mail from the hospital. My condolences to his family may you know that he has touched a lot of lives and healed a lot people.

I have just received a shocking letter today, that my favorite doctor has passed.   I sit here in sadness knowing his sons lost their last parent.  As my doctor for as long as I can remember,  I'm grateful for his caring ways and  knowledgable advise.  He talked so proudly of his boys and I know he was grieving the loss of his first wife during one of the visits I had.  He wore his heart on his sleeve for her.  Love knowing he found another woman to love.   A truly wonderful man and Doctor.  He surely will be missed- Rest In Peace Dr.

Dr.Peter Drenchko was my first choice as OB when having my 3 children.My daughter was delivered by him almost 24 years ago and she became a new patient of his last summer. Very sorry and I'll miss my visits with him.

This afternoon I was shocked to learn my favorite doctor had passed away.  With tears in my eyes, I remember how he always spoke of his sons with such a light in his eyes. Ten years ago he helped me through my most difficult time, losing my 16 yr old daughter to Bacterial Meningitis.  He helped me understand what had happened to her and how it wasn't my fault. He continued to help me with the grief and guilt parents feel. I will miss him a lot. May God bring comfort to his sons, family and close friends.  In his life he touched many souls.

I am so sorry for the loss of Dr. Drenchko.  My deepest sympathy to his boys, all his loved ones, and family.  He has been my doctor for over 23 years, a man I respect and admire in so many ways.  We have always spoken and shared our children's accomplishments over the years.  He was so proud and supportive of his boys with all their endeavors.  He always made time to listen to anything you wanted to talk about and would explaine often with great thought and detail.  Dr.  Drenchko always continued to support further education for himself and to be a mentor for the new and upcoming young adults.  He will be missed by all, he was a great man.

He was the only one who believed I was in pain and he was the one person who took me completely out of pain! The amount of gratitude I have for this man cannot be put into words!! I just learned of Dr. Drenchko's sudden passing.  I am shocked and saddened by the notification I received today.  I've been seeing him for nearly two decades.  My sincere condolences to his family & HFHS Associates!

I was very saddened to learn of Dr. Drenchko's passing. He was a very kind man, and I too remember our conversations with fondness. He took the time to know you as a person not just a patient , and likewise shared stories about his sons. I was a patient of his for over 20 years, He will be greatly missed. The hardest part of losing someone isn't  having to say goodbye, but rather learning to live without them. May you find comfort and peace in the many wonderful memories you have. So sorry for the loss of your father, brother, and uncle. Wish I could have been there for you. I always had such a nice time whenever my family  made it out to Michigan, or your family made it to  New Jersey.

I have just learned of Dr. Drenchko passing.  He was my doctor for many years.  I was one of his very last deliveries.  My twin boys were delivered by Dr. Drenchko back in May 2001.  Not only did he deliver my boys but at the time of delivery there were complications and he had to save my life right there on the operating table... without him I would not be here today.  I will forever be grateful to him for all that he did.

Peter Drenchko was not only my doctor for 30 years but he was my friend.  This is a very great loss. The conversations I have had with him over the years are unforgettable. Peter Drenchko  was an awesome doctor. As a nurse that works with him for a long time I would know. He was a great teacher . He was in a teaching hospital most of his life he taught many residents  and he had a keen sense of humor.  His sons meant the world to him .  You were so proud of them. The world has lost a very good doctor too soon but we can't question God he knows best .

To the family, I was shocked and saddened to hear this news.  I'm a former colleague from St. Joe in Clinton Twp.  Life was never dull with Peter around.  I'm so sorry for your untimely loss.

I am so sad over the loss of a great doctor. I have been a patient for over 23 years. He delivered my son and was a wonderful doctor and support through some major female health issues. He also was a top notch teacher in the OR to my daughter who is a resident. He will be missed by my family. Prayers and thoughts are with his boys during this difficult time.

I came to know about this shocking and sad news today. I saw Dr Drenchko as my first OB doctor back in August 2016 and then few more times in September. I instantly felt connected to him and it was always such an easy visit. I don't have enough words but I am sure he will be in a good place in heaven as I consider all doctors hand of God and Dr Drenchko was truly one. I pray God give his family the strength to bear this loss. I will always remember him as a good doctor.

So sorry to learn of Peter's death.  He was a bright light in my fourth grade class at Peck Elementary.  He used his talents to help others.

I was so shocked to hear of Dr. Drenchko's passing!!! I just saw him in December! I worked with him at HF Macomb and also was a patient. I thorughly enjoyed the talks we would have in the evenings when he was working late, his trips to Harbor Beach and computer issues, I remember when his wife had passed - the boys were younger. So sad but hold on to all the good memories. My heartfelt condolences.

I am saddened to hear this news. Pete, Mary Beth and I went to High School together. Pete and I along with Marty Kane were in a rock band together in 72-73. Pete was an excellent guitarist and a good friend. RIP Pete. My heart goes out to his family. My prayers are for all of your family for comfort.
