Ruth was a kind and generous soul. She retired from the line at General Motors after 25+ years of loyal service. She was a skilled crocheter, often spending hours creating beautiful blankets for her family and friends. Ruth had a passion for life’s simple pleasures, whether it was spending time shopping, going out to eat, or enjoying fellowship with her church family. In her final months, she received devoted care from her niece, Lori, whose kindness brought her great comfort.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Mel); grandson, Jonathan (Tara); great grandchildren: Mackenzie and Joshua; brother, Leonard; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Naomi; brother, Jack; and sister, Mary.
Visitation will be held on December 8, 2025, from 10am to 11am with a funeral service at 11am at Kaul Funeral Home, located at 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Ruth will be laid to rest at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, located at 38425 Garfield Rd, Michigan, MI 48038.
