Salvatore Pizzo passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 84. He was the devoted and loving husband of AnnaMaria, with whom he shared 54 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a strong and vibrant family rooted in love, tradition, and unwavering support.
He was the cherished father of Cesare (Shelly), Vincenzo (Samantha), Serafina (Giuseppe) Giordano, and Angelo (Gabriella). Salvatore was also the proud Nonno of Salvatore (Taylor), Paulo, Antonino, AnnaMaria, Vincenzo, Contessa, Giuseppe, Angelina, Angelo, and Giulio.
Salvatore was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved playing cards, tossing bocce balls under the summer sun, and spending time at the coffee shop with friends. He was a man of quiet strength, sharp wit, and endless love for his family.
A Funeral Mass for Salvatore will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights. Friends may visit the church on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am.
