Scott was a brother, to me.  Scott gave me strength, courage, love,  he taught me strength, he brought out my courage, and loved unconditionally, 
He helped make me the man I am today, 
He gave me hope when there was none.
He gave me courage to over come all odds
He gave strength I thought I never had.
There is a word fear. Forget  everything and run.
Or face every thing and rise.

Scott taught me to face everything and rise. 
Lately that lesson he taught me has become so clear.





Scott was larger than life.  Any time i shared a lockeroom with him, it was more fun. He looked out for me in a lot of ways when i was a young man and i will never forget his smile and laugh that made everyone else around him smile and laugh. 
I will always remember him fondly.

I had the privilege of having Scott play for me at Fraser High. What a great nose man.. Every team we played against always had their hands full.  He had a big heart and stepped up to whatever we asked of him. He will be missed and I'm sure he watched the Michigan game today..

Scott's been a close friend since our middle and high school years. Scott was an amazing people person! He loved being around people socializing, entertaining, and just wanted those around him to have fun. I'm thankful for the friendship we had and for the many stories we shared, lessons we learned, and memories that we made together. 

Scotty was "my brother from another mother"... I love him and I will miss him!



Love ya bro! So many memories that I'm so speechless just want to let you know that you are my brother. Peace buddy!

I am so blessed to know this man’s love. My time with him was too short, but our memories are plentiful. We shared our lives, our love, our hopes, ours dreams, our heartaches, and plans for our future together. My heart has never felt as full as it did when I was with him. He told the best stories, gave the best hugs, and was a constant rock in my life. I know he has me tucked under his arm in “my spot”, and I can feel the warmth of endless forehead kisses.  Scott Douglas, You are the love of my life, and my very best friend. I miss you, Baby! 

There are more than 3 decades of memories to share about times with my dear dear friend.   He really liked this picture from a trip  up in Gladwin Mi.   He said “it looks like we belong on an album cover”.     Boy I really miss him.

Scott wrestled for my MMWA promotion.  Always the gentleman and one of the few I really enjoyed in the locker room. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

 So,many memories how to choose one....you know without incriminating us in anyway, from the times of our wrestling adventures leading us to nothing but good times,to the Jedi Mind tricks we tried to force on one another,to the wise cracking about your big ol butt to your comments about my non exisistining scolliosis to the times you wanted to cave my face in for saying you and the Spartan are one in the same....you were there to actually give good advice when I was going through a divorce and other life complications.....  I cannot/do not believe You are the one we have to share memories about .Inretrospect I came to realize we are the lucky ones to have you as not only a friend , but a brother in the short time we've had on this Earth... In my early years of photographing wrestling, I had the distinct pleasure of working with Scott (Dyson) at Border City Wrestling in Belleville.  A very laid back, pleasant person that loved to make the locker room laugh.  So much so, I could never get him to stand still long enough for posed shots.  Sorry time flew by so fast.
