I met Shelley when our kids were in Head Start. We would volunteer in the classroom and go on fields trips. We even teamed chairing the parent group!  We would babysit each other’s kids. Shelley was my buddy. My pal and a very important part of my life back then. We lost each other as the kids got older and I moved away, but I thank God we were able to find each other again through Facebook. My condolences to the family. May God carry you through and that you find comfort in sharing memories with each other. God Bless. Fly high Miss Shelley. 

You will forever be a part if me.  We may have met later in life but you will  always be special to me. 

P.S. I hope Lisa and the boys will continue Shelley's tradition of her Halloween decorations... She always had a spectacular display.....people came from all over to see it ... She should of got more recognition from the city for it..hindsight I guess... 

I've known Shelley for over 30 years!! Her son's went to school with my kids and years later we hired into the Post Office on the same day.. I use to always tease her because even though we had the same seniority date, I was still ahead of her by 3 lol We shared many many stories. Heartaches. Births, divorces , weddings and finally our grandchildren which neither one of us could ever get enough of... We always had a daily story about them .. we had so much in common except for sports.... She was a huge sports nut where I tended to lean on the figure skating side of the sports spectrum lol I'll never stop looking for her to pull up next to me at work, rolling our Windows down and talking before going in... We always arrived early...We worked together at the call center and on the same team. Shelley.... You are so missed but I know your sitting in some Sports arena with a golden seat waiting for the Super Bowl...if we listen hard enough I bet we'll hear you .. this is is not goodbye but until we meet again. 
Rest easy my friend 

Shelley always attended my grandson's plays. We  had so much fun together at the Bob Seger and an Eagles concert at The Palace.  When my father was ill she came to visit him and she also  brought the two sided tape and helped make his memeory board for his funeral. She always came to all of our family birthday and holiday celebrations. She was always there for anyone who needed help. I will miss you.  RIH dear cousin with love.



Mom… 

Even though we fought a lot while I was a kid you never gave up on me. I owe so much to you for the way you raised me and my brothers. You taught me how to be loving and kind. Because of you I’ve had a great childhood and adulthood. I’ll never forget how proud you were of me after Devyn was born and I became a parent myself. I know you often saw me struggling with Devyn and you always were there to help. I’ll never forget how much you loved us all especially Devyn. I’ll never forget all our good times, and I choose not to dwell on the bad ones. Until we meet again I love you so much, and miss you more everyday.

I’ve known Shelley since childhood. She could always beat me at cards! And bowling. She was always cheerful and sunny, and fun to be with. She was very accepting of people, and quick to laugh--but always with you, never at you. I always admired that she was strong of spirit, and when she decided something, she stuck to it and never wavered. I know she had ups and downs in her life even from childhood. But she cherished her own unique identity and that of those around her, and lived life to the full. She loved children, both her own and other people’s, and always included them even when “grownups” were trying to talk. I know she loved her grandchildren so much, and I’m so, so sorry that they won’t be able to grow up knowing her playful smile and sunny laugh. Or being beaten at cards by her! 
A special thanks to her family, and especially to Lisa, who was there at the end to take care of her. Please keep her memory alive!



I met Shelley when i lived across from her and her family on E. Saratoga, she walked over and inquired if i was interested in a babysitting job  At the time she had Chris & Erik.  That was my first "job".    Rip Shelley ill miss you.
