Theresa was an accomplished crocheter and also loved to knit. She made all her children afghans, mittens, and bootie slippers. She also in her younger years decorated cakes, making many baby bootie shaped cakes for baby showers. As a cook, she was outstanding. Just give her a few ingredients and she’d make a tasty meal. Everyone remembers her famous, made-from-scratch, baked beans. She was the consummate hostess and had the ability to make strangers feel welcome in her presence. Her beautiful backyard hosted many pool parties and family potlucks. She was genteel, always very polite, and always a lady (even while mowing the lawn).
She was united in marriage to William M. Carroll on June 25,1948.
Theresa is survived by her children: Mark (Vicky) Carroll, Mary Pat Teschler, Dean (Sherry) Carroll, and Paul Carroll; grandchildren: Karl, Krista, Keri, Amy, Scott, and Todd; and step grandchildren: Jessica and Ashley. In addition, she was the proud great grandmother of 13.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Lynn Marie; son-in-law, Dale Teschler; brothers: Lee Donnelly, Robert Donnelly, John Donnelly, and Tom Donnelly; and her grandson, Matthew Carroll.
