Valerie Beitel

Valerie Beitel, age 81, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on August 15, 2025. She was the beloved wife and high school sweetheart of the late Edward Beitel. They were married for almost 63 years; Dear mother of the late Linda Goboly (Rich), the late Ardith Beitel (Susan Garbe), Mark Beitel (the late Kathy), Leslie Beitel; Loving grandmother of Jesse Sims, Samantha Goboly and Melissa Goboly; Great-grandmother of Ivy Goboly, Brody Goboly, Willow Goboly and Mykel Goboly; Dearest sister of Jack Ditslear, Judy Pratt (Dick), Mike Ditslear (Charlene), Russell Wertz (Sandy), and Sara Welly (Denny). She was preceded in death by her parents Doris and George Wertz and siblings Dick Ditslear, Ron Ditslear, Barbara Barnes, Gene Wertz, and Clare Wertz.

A memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 1 – 4 PM, with a brief memorial service at 3 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
