Violet H Heyer

Violet (Harms) Heyer, age 90, passed away November 15, 2014. Loving wife of the late Richard F. Heyer for more than 60 years. Mother of three daughters Vickie (Carl) Staton, Sandra (Dale) Williams and Kimberly Bradbury; devoted Grandmother of Richard Staton, Megan Abbot, Shawn McCormick, Shannon Savona, Bradley Bradbury, Eric Bradbury and Drew Williams; proud Great Grandmother of Danny, Aiden, Maggie, Ella, Mya, Ava and Leah. Violet was the only surviving child of five siblings. Her siblings, Alfred, Olga, Ida, and Irene had predeceased her; she had one sister-in-law, Carolyn (Heyer) Hussing and many precious nieces and nephews.

Richard and Violet owned and operated Heyer Smith Electric in Detroit for many years and Violet retired from several positions at Fraser public Schools.

They enjoyed their historical home in Pinckney MI as well as a winter home in Lake Placid, FL.

Memorial visitation on Sunday November 23

from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial service at 4 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home,

35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, Mi.
