Violet Helen Kulczycki

Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Loving mother of Eugene S. Kulczycki, Janet (Steve) Maurer, Dr. Christine (John) Juroszek, Elaine (Ronald) Schultz, and Karen Magner. Dear grandmother to Sara (Shaun) Colburn, Laura (Jeff) Lutz, and Dr. Kendra (Dr. Mike) Wowk. Great-grandmother to Mason Colburn, Colton Colburn, Parker Lutz, and Grayson Lutz.

Violet graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan and was awarded with a scholarship to go to Rhode Island School of Design. She will be remembered as a wonderful artist who illustrated fashion for Hudson’s and Crowley’s in Detroit. She was also a member of Warren Art Society and had exhibits held at the City of Warren and at the Jewish Community Center in Bloomfield Hills, and would draw solders for the USO. Described as the “Kindest person in the world”, Violet had a good soul. She loved all animals especially her cats.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3pm until time of Service at 7pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society in Detroit, would be appreciated by Violet’s family.
