

Walter J. Bogus, age 89, passed away January 24, 2014. He was a WW II Navy Veteran, served on the USS Concord, and achieved the rank of Aviation Machinist 2nd Class. Walter was a graduate of MSU in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at GM for 35 yrs., retiring with the title, Director of the Die Engineering and Mechanical Handling Department. Walter was a member of the St. Ronald Men’s Club. He liked to participate in all sports but had a special passion for Golf. Walter was the beloved husband of Norma J. Bogus; loving father of Joseph Bogus, Mary (Stephen) Henige, James (Lourdes) Bogus, Anne (Joseph) Roznowski, and Robert John Bogus; and devoted grandfather of Nicole, Jennifer, Michael, and Kimberly Henige, Joshua and Zenia Bogus, Billy and Ryan Finn, and Stephanie, Tommy, Beth, Stacey, and Robbie Roznowski. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Clara Bogus, and brothers, Fr. Dan Bogus and John Bogus. Visitation Wednesday, January 29, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township.
