William Brandal

William Leon Brandal, age 64, passed away December 3, 2012 .Beloved husband of Peggy for 25 years. Father of Jon (Wendy Fitch), Josh, Megan, Kathie (Greg) Klingensmith, and Tina (Joe) LaBeau. Grandfather to Grant, Logan, Hunter and Colee. Also survived by his siblings George Brandal, Richard Shindle, Joan Robbins, and Denise Torbit. William was preceded in death by his parents William A. and Dorothy Brandal.

William was born May 28, 1948 in La Porte, Indiana. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years and also served as an alter server. He attended Wayne State University and graduate with a BSW. In 1987 William married Peggy in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

William was an employee at Harbor Oaks Hospital in New Baltimore, Michigan where he worked as an Intake Specialist. Before then, William worked in the residential systems in Utica, Michigan for 20 years where he managed the care of adult mentally disabled.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2pm at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. Instate 10am. Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 3pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to American Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
