William B. Forsyth, age 82, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on November 2, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He is the dedicated husband of 58 years to Tasmia Kay Forsyth; Adored father of Julie Gabrysh, Lisa Costa (Santo), and Lynda Recor (Kenneth); Treasured grandfather of Amber Levock (Mikey), Tasmia Herbert (Josh), Robert Recor (Mark), Anthony Costa, Ryan Costa, and Danielle Recor; Loving great-grandfather of Brooke Levock and Michael Messina. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Forsyth, brother Jim Forsyth, and great-granddaughter Alexa Levock.
Bill was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp., and later followed by service to his community in working as a police officer with Clinton Township for 25 years. Bill was a devoted family man, taking care of his wife, Kay and spending time with his grandkids, all who were the light of his life. He will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 2-8 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11 AM, with a brief visitation starting at 10 AM, also at Resurrection Funeral Home. Final resting place, Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
