William Stahl Simek

It is with great sadness we share the passing of our father William S. Simek, age 79, of Harrison Township, Michigan, late on October 19, 2023. Born in Detroit, MI. Reunited with his parents Carl and Olga Simek. He is the beloved father of Stacey Dumont-Killeen (Terry), William Simek Jr. (Meagan) and Gabrielle Simek (Kevin Toler); Loving grandfather of Brandyn Dumont (Jamie), Travis Killeen (Julia), Jason Sandoval (Madison), Kayla Sandoval, Giovanni Gattuso-Tocco, Alyssa Toler and Sophie Simek; Dear brother of Margaret Ann Harper (Dennis), late Ronald Simek (Sandra), late Kathleen, late Judith Takalo (Larry) and late Michael Simek (late Sue) (Nancy); Best friend to his canine companion Max; he was also loved by several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a team leader at Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant.

Bill enjoyed life and always lived it to the fullest. He loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, boating, water-skiing, snowmobiling, golfing, bonfires and fishing. He had a love for cars, outdoors and animals. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and his friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
