Alice Virginia Morgan

Alice Virginia Morgan left this earth on December 11, 2017. She will be reunited with her husband of 57 years, Russell H. Morgan, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2004. Born in Fleming, Bryan County, GA on March 30, 1927, she was the third of eight children born to Thomas C. Phillips and Gertrude Carter Phillips who have all preceded her in death except for one sister, Dorothy Pauline Kersey of GA. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Lynda Friesen, of Fresno, CA.

She is survived by two daughters: Donna Wride (Alan) of Folsom, CA; Carol Childers (Ken) of Fresno, CA; and one son, Russell H. Morgan Jr. (Burlene) of Spring, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday evening between 6 – 8:00 pm at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Ave., Clovis, CA

A funeral service will be held graveside at 12:00 noon at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N. Villa Ave., Clovis, CA. Rev. James Winchester from Trinity Baptist Church in Clovis will be officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Russ Morgan Jr., Alan Wride, Steve Foster, Scott Friesen, Morgan Friesen, Chris Quigley and Ken Childers.
