 To my dad you’re my heroe in my life, you’re the second  Great man in my life  that I’ve lost this year the first was granddad: You’ve always made me feel like your son without the word step in it taught me how to work hard be proud of who you are, & watch your mouth, and be proud of your country, I thank you every day  for guiding me in the right directions even though lots of times I still made stupid or foolish ones I still came back to the original ones  because of what you taught me also you were there when I would make mistakes and you always welcomed me back with loving open arms,  you always  helped everyone out when they needed it you were always there to support me and stand by me I miss you every day & think about you a lot I think about the little things like when I was 4 I was ridding on your  shoulders in the store and when I was 15 you gave me a truck and then told me to learn how to drive it to come back when I had it all figured out  you’re a good provider and a good dad the best that I could ever have thank you for your love support and I hope that you’re proud of me  I am grateful and blessed with the time I did have with you 

 Carl Sullivan was my father-in-law he was an amazing man who work hard he taught my husband how to be a good man and work hard he made me feel like family right away when we met he was a good man he never knew a stranger he was always nice to everybody and treated everybody like a friend I enjoyed all the time I got to spend with him especially our private times when I would go over there when nobody was around and we’d sit and visit I love hearing all his old stories  they were enjoyable to hear I am a better person for knowing him I will miss him I love him rest in heaven papa till I see you again (RIH).....

I search the inner depths within my soul for words fitting enough to convey
the vast breadth of my love and admiration for you – my big brother, to whom this tribute I pay
Situated among life’s greatest difficulties is losing a loved one we hold most dear
With ease I recall memories of how you blessed me, guided me, and brought me peace and hopeful cheer
With my head bowed low, eyes tightly closed against my tear stained cheeks
No greater pain have I ever felt than remembering the joy of you amidst my present grief
You encouraged me to open my eyes, find the strength within to hold my head high
You taught me to be good, generous, and loving even without a reason why
You were the anchor that held onto me when the storms of life tossed me too and fro
I could count on you to be strong and steady, when tears came in waves, to your shoulder I would go
Beside me, with silent tenderness, you would wait for life’s storms to pass and clear
In your loving kindness you revealed the blooms that spring forth when the rain would disappear
So instead of abandoning tomorrow to look back on the yesterdays with you
I will turn and bravely face tomorrow because of our yesterdays, its what you would do
Of the many lives I have encountered during my time here on this Earth, there are few with highest value, and yours is priceless, maintaining greatest worth.  
Your name is etched across my heart, next to Mom’s, worn like a badge of honor
Every day I thank God for choosing you for my big brother, it is one of the greatest gifts this life could ever have to offer.  
So though you are gone from this life now, you remain present within us– in heart and in mind
For your great legacy lives on through us until the end of time.  



Carl Dean was my cousin, two months younger.  We were growing up together until his family moved to California.  One of my earliest memories is we were riding tricycles and he hit a rock or something and he said "Dang!".  I was shocked--I thought he had said a very bad word.  There are many more pleasant. fun memories of time spent with him, his siblings and other cousins as we grew older.  He was one of the most caring, kind, gentle men I have ever known.  This planet is emptier without his presence.

You were one of the greatest men i will ever know, i am grateful for the time i was  able to spend with you. Thank you for being my teacher,  for giving me someone to talk to, showing me its alright to be myself. Thank you for teaching me to care for those around me. Thank you for being my father figure and my best friend. I love you Papa and will miss you.
