I had posted a comment earlier.  I had to find the picture of Deidre with her cousin Diane.  That is now attached.

Your cousin Diane Luersen and I stopped to have lunch with you and your son years ago.  I just found out about Deidre .
We enjoyed meeting her and her son.

You will always be with us at Thanksgiving Deidre. Sweet Potato’s and Pumpkin Pie. May your Star shine.

I met Deidra through work and was fortunate to have worked with her. She was an intelligent, skillful nurse that demonstrated a great deal of integrity. Deidra is definitely missed. 

My thoughts and prayers to Deidre's family and especially her son who she spoke of often and loved so dearly. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to  work with Deidre for the past 6 years. She was a special person with a sharp wit, a unique sense of humor and a great intelligence. She is very much missed by me and everyone in our office. My sincere condolences.  

Deidre Kappmeyer was a wonderful person. The more I got to know her, the more I saw that she had a playful side to her. She was very thoughtful, kind, and just an absolutely awesome person once I got a chance to know her. I am glad I had the chance to know her even though it was through work. She will be missed. My condolences to the family. 

To Michael and family,
I was my privilege to have known Deidre while she worked for the State.  She was my work colleague, friend, casino pal.  As we grew in our jobs, we shared + and -,  helping each of us know we were on our right tracks. I am so sorry she is gone in body, but for sure not in my heart. 

Please note- a contribution in her honor was made to the Yosemite Conservation organization. May her spirit soar in the beauty of the park.
