When we moved to Fresno from Maine in 1963, we met the House family. Throughout elementary school, little league and Boy Scouts,  I spent a lot of time at their house playing.  Both Mrs. and Mr. House were such fun to be around. They are a permanent part of my happy childhood. 

We  worked together for several  years.  She was my supervisor and we became close friends.  I have many good memories and I remember us laughing a lot.  She will be missed.
I am so sorry for your loss.   May  God comfort and  draw you closer  to Him at this time.

Berti will always remain a sweet, and dear friend in my heart. She truly was a servant of the Lords at New Heights as was you sweet Dad. They are together forever now. Blessed to be out of the mess of this world...and with the Father in Glory. Our heartfelt condolences to all the family.

Mom, my heart hurts to think we can’t call or come visit you any more.  You are so missed already and will be for years to come.  I want to say thank you for Andy...he took so many of his qualities from you...of course he took at least 1 that I could do without...his stubbornness...lol.  I was so blessed to marry into this family and get you and dad as my new parents...that’s what you became.  So many people thought I was your daughter rather than daughter-in-law, lol.  Thank you for loving my boys as your own.  That meant so much to me and them.  I have so many wonderful memories of sitting on your couch watching old movies and shows with you and dad when Andy & I were dating.  My favorite memory is the time I was trying to get Andy’s attention from across the room.  He was totally engrossed in the show and I called his name.  You looked but he didn’t so I called his name again, and you looked back and forth again.  This went on several times, with you looking back and forth like you were watching a tennis match.  Finally I used my best “mom” voice and said ANDY CARL HOUSE to which his head instantly snapped to look at me.  You laughed so hard...mom you had the sweetest laugh.  I miss you so much.  I bet Dad is talking your ear off.  Have you even gotten to say anything or do anything except go fishing since you got to Heaven???  We miss you but will be ok...we’ll see you again...love you so much...thank you for loving me.

My grandma was the better than anyone’s grandma.  Simple as that. 

We had some great talks in the kitchen on the hill.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your life.  You are missed!

Mom, I don't have the words to tell you how much i love you and how you will be missed. I will miss our calls on my drive to and from my stores , the wisdom you always gave me , the support and confidence you had in me , if i was a little more like you i would have went further in my career ..... You could always talk in front of anyone and any number of people WOW i wish i could do that !!! with that said the confidence you gave me allowed me to be the man i am today. We always boasted about how close our family is I pray your sons can stay close with both you and Dad gone , as both of you were the glue that lead this family. You have left a large legacy and you will be missed. We love you Mom.
