She enjoyed her beloved cats and dogs, dancing, reading, music, and laughing with friends and family. Erin loved to visit Pismo Beach and spent many summers there vacationing with her family. Much of Erin’s career was advocating for adults with disabilities and she was very passionate about improving the lives of her clients.
She was predeceased by her parents John (Jack) Donahue and Ruth Anne Donahue, and her beloved fiancé Matthew Peterson.
She is survived by her three children Lauren Nijskens, Colin Castello, and Victoria Castello; her grand-daughter Nora Nijskens; and her five siblings Michael Donahue, Tim Donahue, Denise Van Tassel, Eileen Works, and Sheila Hoover.
A Memorial Service for Erin will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
