Eugene (Gene) Robert Anthony was born January 28, 1937 in Fresno, California. A much beloved man who spent most of his life in and around Fresno and the foothills of Fresno, entered into rest on April 29, 2022.
He led a full and wonderful life, leaves many relatives and friends, and will be missed by all that he knew and that he helped during his lifetime. He enjoyed the outdoors, nature, hiking, fishing, camping, horse-back riding, sports, music, singing, dancing, and laughing.
He spent most of his career working for Pacific Gas and Electric Company but always had time to help others out when they were in need. After he retired, he continued to devote a significant amount of time to those he knew that were in need in his community and in his church.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Amy Anthony; his daughter Vicki Clason (Michael); his son Randall Anthony (Rebecca); his son Shawn Anthony (Marlene); and his daughter Carla Kirk (Craig).
Gene also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service for Eugene will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 29711 Auberry Road, Prather, California.
