Isaias is survived by his wife Ramona Betty Romero and his children, Joe wife Silvia, Gilbert, Eddie wife Kathy, Kathleen husband Ellis, Anthony wife Marie, Cynthia husband Marty, Patrick wife Josie and Ruth husband Kirk. 14 Grandchildren, Joseph II, Jesse, Felicia, Matthew, Katie, Gracie, Isaac, Adrianna, Michael, Alicia, Jason, Mia, Vance and Alex. 8 great grandchildren, Madasyn, Joseph III, Miranda, Alexa, Ezekiel, Joseph Isaac, Phoenix and Nathanial Isaias.
Isaias was born in Ontario, Ca on July 6th, 1930 to Jose and Eduarda Romero. When he was a child his family moved to Sanger, CA. After Graduating from Sanger High School he went into the army where he was in the tank division. He was Korean War Veteran. On September 13, 1954 he married the love of his life Ramona Betty Tellez they were married for 66 years. He worked for Fresno County as a Mechanic and dispatcher for 25 years where he then retired. After his retiring he was employed by EEOC and Decker auto parts and Smith Auto parts. He also had numerous part time jobs.
Isaias was devoted Catholic and went to church every week. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church for over 60 years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He enjoyed when the family would get together and celebrate birthdays and holidays. He always looked forward to his yearly trip for his birthday with his sons, we would take him to Reno, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas whichever one he would choose. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and everyone who all knew him.
A Visitation for Isaias will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2140 North Cedar Avenue, Fresno, California 93703.
A Rosary Service will occur Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., 2140 North Cedar Avenue, Fresno, California 93703.
A Mass will occur Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:30 p.m., 2140 North Cedar Avenue, Fresno, California 93703.
A Committal Service will follow the Mass at Sanger Cemetery, 568 South Rainbow Avenue, Sanger, California 93657.
Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Romero, Jesse Romero, Matthew Dillard, Isaac Romero, Michael Romero, Vance Hamzy, Alex Hamzy and Jason Salas.
