Jackie Christiansen

Jackie was born on September 9, 1930 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Jacob and Martha Rohrig. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed playing bridge and volunteering at her church. She and her husband built a cabin at Shaver Lake where they shared many, many fond memories with family and friends. Jackie loved to fish and travel with her husband, Bob, along with their beloved dogs in their RV, going across our great country. Before retirement, Jackie worked as an office manager at the family business for over 13 years. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 24, 2016.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Bob Christiansen of Fresno, their son Bob Christiansen and his wife Trish of Carlsbad, CA, and their daughter, Terry Wattenbarger and husband Charles of Bakersfield. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 2:00 till 7:00 p.m.

A Celebration/Memorial of Jackie's life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at the church.
