Jessica Gabrielson

Jessica died in Fresno, CA. at the age of 69 after a forty-five month courageous battle with cancer. She was born in New York on February 5, 1953, the daughter of Moritz and Lenora Nappe. She also had four brothers. She lost her mother when she was only sixteen years old .

She went to horse riding school and was an accomplished equestrian. She attended Farmingdale High School in New Jersey. At the age of sixteen she transferred to a boarding school in Virginia. She traveled the world by ship for her college education through Chapman University, Orange, CA.

She met her first husband Richard Ledarman in college and married him when she was twenty years old. They lived in Colorado. He died of cancer at an early age. She then moved to Fresno, CA and lived with her brother Stan Nappe and family.

On May 28, 1992 she married Dan Gabrielson of Fresno, CA.

Jessica spent more than twenty years as a real estate agent for Guarantee Real Estate Agency. She made many friends while working there. She was a very successful agent.

Jessica loved her many horses, dogs, cats and chickens over the years. They were like family to her. She enjoyed horse shows, riding horses and jumping events. She loved to travel and the couple took many cruises together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Robert and Steven Nappe, her father and mother-in-law John and Charlotte Gabrielson and brother-in-law David Gabrielson (twin brother to Dan).

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Dan of Fresno, CA, two brothers Stan Nappe of Fresno, CA and Victor Nappe of Florida, brothers-in-laws Paul and Mary Gabrielson of Fresno, CA, Rodney and Donna Youngquist of Lincoln, NE, Frank and Karen Hadley of Loomis, NE and Chris Pettibon and Lee Pettibon of Fresno, CA and a very special niece, Cheri Matthews of Fresno, CA plus many nieces and nephews and all her pets.

Contributions may be made to the family in honor of Jessica to be designated at a later date.

A Memorial Service for Jessica will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
