

On Saturday, January 2, 2016, heaven welcomed its latest angel into the loving arms of our Lord. Juana Gonzales, of Clovis, CA, was born on November 24,1919, in El Paso, TX. She's known affectionately by all who were blessed to have been in her life as "Grandma Jenny". She touched many lives through her love of baseball, cooking and dancing. Grandma was a single mother who raised six children while working as a farm laborer, and until her retirement at Aramark in Industrial laundry.
Grandma was preceded in death by her mother; two husbands; two brothers; three sisters; one daughter; and one grandson.
She is survived by her children, Angie Guzman, Joe Palacios, Frances Garcia and husband Luis, Ricardo Amparan and wife Debbie, Jackie Castillo and Sylvia Montano and fiancé Frank; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, plus various nephews and nieces.
A Rosary Service will be held at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. A Catholic Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Clovis, on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. A Burial to follow at Clovis District Cemetery.
