

June Rose Keifer, 79 of Clovis California, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2013 with all of her children by her side.
She was born at home in Buffalo Wyoming on June 4, 1934 to Henry and Alda Keifer.
June came out to California in her early years and ended up in rural Central California were the majority of her school years were spent in Fowler, Exeter, and Kingsburg..
June worked a great deal of her young career in sales or administrative jobs, She enjoyed her time with Beeline Clothing as she had access to travel up and down the state which she loved.
June spent time on the Central Coast while attending Cuesta College attaining her AS Library Technology BA degree. If mom could have lived anywhere she would have been in Morro Bay, she was a coastal girl at heart.
June was a people person she enjoyed conversation, crafting, sewing, and her love of pictures and scrapbooking was known to all. Scrapbooking and Quilting were her passion, she was very proud of her family and it showed in the wonderful job that she displayed of them in her scrap books and numerous quilts she made. She loved her grand and great grand children and was always anxious to hear the adventures of their lives.
She is survived by her four children, George Marten, Jeff Marten and his wife Debbie, Sharron Murray and her husband Steve, and Kendall Hissem Jr., her eight grandchildren, Scott Murray and his Fiancée Ana Cortez, Michael Marten, Melissa Yandell and husband Mike, Shannon Anders and husband Ben, Kendra Cotter and husband Jimmy, Kristen Booth and husband Trevor, Kendall III “Lil man”, Madison Hissem along with ten great-grandchildren, Destiny, Austin, Caleb, Thomas, Justin, Danielle, Georgia, Halo, Mason, Xander along with her beloved cat “Boo”.
She is also survived by her sister Dottie Weaver and her children, Susan, David, Donnie, Tammy, her sister Vickie Victorino and her children Christa and Chad, nieces Jennifer Johnson, Lisa Nelson-Main, and nephew Brad Johnson, in addition to a large family of great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Alda, Father Henry, Step father Paul, and her beloved sisters Darlene and Hope. Mom will be greeted in heaven by a very large angel family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday August 27, 2013 at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis, CA. Pastor Derrill Rogers of Central Coast Christian Center will be officiating.
