Kathryn Mae Payte

Mom was born on November 6, 1931 in Wenatchee, WA to her parents; Donald and Hulda Botts. She was a beloved homemaker and owner of the Pleasant Manor Rest Home for over 30 years. She went to be with Jesus peacefully on May 3, 2014 in Fresno, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Ray Payte and their son, Stacy Payte.

She is survived by her children; Sherry Wallis and husband Oran of Clovis, Kathy Cleaver and her husband Ron of Madera, Deborah Scroggins of Fresno, Steve Payte and wife Vonnie of Fresno, and Bill Payte and wife Lydia of Pine Flat. Kathryn also leaves behind her brother Don Botts Jr. and wife Verna of Ok., her nieces, Donna Dean of Madera; Susie Ying of Fresno and Sally Clark of OK. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mom was the "essence of sweetness", fell in love with Jesus from an early age, raised her chidlren to love Jesus as well and today & always, her children "arise and call her blessed". She was loved by ALL who had the privilege of knowing her.

Memorial service will be held at Bethel Christian Center of Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
