Captain Lauran Moss Bowytz, age 76, of Fresno, California entered into rest on Monday November 12, 2018. Lauran was born November 29, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Marion Bowytz and Harry Bowytz. Lauran and his wife Lois were married for 38 years. Lauran was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran and Hospital Administrator, he was an avid Steeler football fan, loved ballroom dancing, and going on cruises.
Lauran is survived by his wife, Lois Bowytz, his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and his great-great-nieces and his great-great-nephews.
Lauran was preceded in death by; father Harry Bowytz and mother Marion Bowytz; brother Robert Bowytz.
A Visitation for Lauran will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Boice Funeral home 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Military Graveside Service will occur Monday, November 26, 2018 at11:00 a.m. at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
