Lucita Masangcay Manzanares, 83, of Santa Rosa, California entered into rest on July 27, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1940 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines to Felomena Masangcay and Pedro Masangcay.
She immigrated to San Francisco, California, United States with her family in 1958 and married Justino R. Lapuz in San Francisco in May 1960.
Lucita loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed serving others and spent most of her working career as a waitress at Denny’s.
Lucita is survived by her son Joseph Brandon Masangcay; her son Anthony M. Lapuz; her son Justino R. Lapuz, Jr.; her daughter Magdalena Lapuz-Mennies; and her son-in-law Jeff Mennies; her granddaughter Marlena Stevenson, her grandson Louis Stevenson, her granddaughter-in-law Erin Stevenson, her great-grandchild Truth Justino and her great-grandchild Mayari Jalena.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lucita's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
