Mary Antionette Cunha

Mary was born February 13, 1932 into the farming family of Louie and Josephine Caraccioli in Greenfield, CA. Speaking only Swiss/Italian, she began school in Greenfield, CA and continued on to High School in King City.

Mary married her lifelong love, John Cunha Sr., of Salinas, CA on July 30, 1950. Together they farmed and operated Sherwood Dairy.

John and Mary are survived by their three children; Belarie Peterson and her husband Jerry; Christina Howell and her husband Rex; and John Cunha Jr. and his wife Bridget. Mary is also survived by three grandchildren; Rex Howell Jr., , Jennifer Cunha and Justin Cunha, two step grandchildren, Jay Peterson and Lynn Oswalt. Five great grandchildren; Rex, Gianna and Jimmy Howell, Drake and Caitlin McNama, and three step great grandchildren; Blake Oswalt, Jake and Jerry Peterson

Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, Monday, November 28, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. and at Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church, Salinas, CA. on Wednesday, the 30th at 1:00 p.m.
