Melanie A. Etiz

Melanie was born in San Mateo, California on March 28, 1953 to Raymond and Joan Kamlade. She is survived by two siblings---Lynne Wonnacott and Brian Kamlade---and she is preceded in death by Grant and Karen. Melanie married her first husband, Gary, with whom she had two children, Gary and Adam. Tragically, after her first husband passed away from terminal illness, Melanie would go on to meet the love of her life, Bill Etiz, with whom she had two sons---Brent and Tyler. She would go on to have grandchildren--Jake, Evan, Robin, Owen, and Evelyn.

Melanie lived her life and loved those in her life unconditionally. She found the most joy in the simplest of things---a smile, a hug, a laugh. If you'd ask her about her happiest place, she'd say in the kitchen with a warm meal being cooked on the stove, arm in arm with her husband, surrounded by the smiling faces of the ones she loves most, with the laughter of her grandchildren running through the halls.

She will be remembered for the love that she was so eager to give and the way that she made people feel. She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever strong.
