On Thursday, January 23, 2014, the Pulliam family lost their patriarch and hero. We lost one of the most amazing men who ever walked this earth. Russell Wayne Pulliam went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his devoted wife of 52 years, his children and grandchildren. There was not a man who loved and dedicated his life to his family more. Russ touched and influenced numerous lives throughout his time here on earth. He loved music, sports, and his Rams! Russ was a proud veteran of the United States Army. His greatest joys in his life were his children, his 11 grandchildren, and his loving wife Edwina. Russell accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior before his passing. Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Wanda; and a brother Philip. Russ is survived by Edwina, his loving wife of 52 years, who loved and cherished him throughout their life together; his son, Shannon and his wife Meredith; daughters, Tiffany and her husband Craig; Amber and her husband Rick, Erin and her husband Colin. His eleven grandchildren, Hunter, Rushael, Haylee, Giana, Mckenzie, Taytum, Champney, Avery, Parker, Cole, and Courtlin; his brothers, Lanny Ross, Micky Pulliam and Steven Pulliam, and their spouses; sister, Laverne Lynch and her spouse; his sister-in-law, Lela Ridenour; his nieces, Vicki and Diane, who he raised and loved as his own. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends. A Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Church, 4620 E. Nees Ave., Clovis, Ca. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army in his name. Please send all flower donations to the church.
