Thinh Quoc Duong, a strong and active individual, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on January 28, 1941, Thinh was known as a fighter and an outgoing personality throughout his life. He was a resident of Fresno, California.
Thinh was a proud family man, married to his beloved wife, Sinh Nguyen, since 1968. He cherished his family and loved sharing the history of his family with them. He is survived by his wife, Sinh, his daughters Holly Snyder and Phuoc Duong, and his sons Henry Nguyen and Nathan Duong. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Jonathan Duong, Talia Tran, Tyler Tran, and Angel Nguyen.
In his career, Thinh served as a Captain in the Military. Despite being imprisoned by the communists, he later pursued a career as an apothecarist. His dedication and resilience were evident in his professional life.
Thinh had a passion for gardening and nature, often finding solace in these activities. He also enjoyed writing poems, reading the news, and had a great love for Vietnamese food. Additionally, he had a fondness for the color purple.
Thinh Quoc Duong will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, and his active engagement with life.
A Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612, on August 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
