Alfredo Larre

Alfredo was born on May 27 1945 to parents Aflredo & Rosa Larre in Argentina. Alfredo married Maria Iglesias in Argentina on May 27 1972.

Alfredo served in his professional career as a Chemical Engineer, spending more than 27 years at DOW. He earned a Lifetime Achievement Award with DOW and held several patents there as well. He loved to travel, visiting many countries and much of the United States. He spent time volunteering with the AARP helping low-income and the elderly for many years.

Alfredo and Maria were blessed with 3 children, and many more friends in Lake Jackson. Alfredo celebrated his faith at St. Michaels Catholic Church of Lake Jackson.

Alfredo is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo & Rosa Larre.

Alfredo is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Maria F. Larre; two sons: Ariel Larre, & Anibal (wife Heather) Larre; daughter Romina (husband Rian) Martin; grandchildren Gabriella Larre, Brayden Martin, and Brycen Martin. He is further survived by a sister, Rosa “Ruby” Catalina.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 7pm on Monday February 29 2016 at Restwood Funeral Home, followed by a vigil service and rosary performed at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday March 1 2016 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Lake Jackson.

Alfredo B. Larre will be laid to rest in Restwood Memorial Park immediately following the funeral mass.
