Bernadette Mary Hadash

Bernadette was born to Joe and Mary Kutra on December 3, 1934 in Sealy, Texas.

Bernadette worked for 25 years as a Head Secretary in the hospital industry for The Harris County Hospital District.

Bernadette is a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Prior to moving to Angleton, she sang in the church choir at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, Texas. Bernadette graduated from Sealy High School, class of 1953. In high school she sang in choir, played clarinet in band and was on the basketball team. Bernadette graduated the Houston Business College. Bernadette enjoyed baseball, football, bowling, racing, sewing, and friends. She won numerous awards in bowling. Bernadette leaves behind wonderful memories of her love of children. Bernadette loved to dance and was still dancing at 82. A fantastic mom, grandma and great-grandma. Attending every sporting event and award ceremony she could get to, which was many, even while she was a full time working mom, her family was her greatest hobby.

Bernadette is preceded in death by parents, Joe & Mary Machala Kutra; and brother, Wilbert Kutra.

Bernadette is survived by son, Randy Davenport, daughter, Tanya Wilkes, son in law, Brian Wilkes, sister in law, Dottie Kutra, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Harley Roush, Ryan Davenport, Harley Roush Jr, Brayden Wilkes, Jordan Roush, and Colton Dillard.

Honorary pallbearers are Braddux Brothers.

Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Thursday August 17, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at The Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton on Friday August 18, 2017 at 12:00pm, followed by the graveside at Angleton Cemetery.
