Brenda Gale (Beeson) Joshua

Brenda was born on August 28, 1955, in Freeport, Texas. She passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012, in Clute, Texas. Brenda was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and chose the profession of a teacher. She graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1975. Brenda graduated from Texas A&M in Kingsville, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1991. She taught school in Corpus Christi, Dallas, United Arab Emirates, and Lanier Middle School in Freeport until her retirement in December 2011. Brenda had the honor of being Teacher of the Year at Lanier Middle School. Brenda’s family was very special to her. She is preceded in death by her Husband, John Joshua, Grandparents Bennie & Irene Allen, Grandmother Eunice Whittenberg, Uncles Jimmy Parrott and Roy Biggs, Aunt Dorothy Allen Biggs, and Cousins Ricky Beeson and Kathy Biggs. She is survived by Daughters Lori Anne Massey (Jeffrey) of Dallas and Reena Elizabeth Joshua of Clute; Grandson Arnold Bednorz of Freer; Parents Joyce Allen Beeson of Lake Jackson and Arthur Beeson of Clute, sister Sheri Beeson and brother Danny Beeson (Umi) of Houston. Survived by Uncle Bennie ‘Skippy’ Allen (Caline); Aunts Shirley Allen Parrott and Betty Allen Beeson (Charles); Nieces Cathryn Beeson-Lynch, Julia Beeson; Nephews Adam Allen Beeson, Jeremy Evans (Janine); and Great Nephews Dalton, Garrett, and Jake Evans. Cousins Sharla Reynaga, Tenna Dengler (Hayman), Connie Black (Kim), Sondra Dickman (Mark), Neal Beeson (Brenda), the Allen boys: Trag (Donna), Troy, Tracy (Bonnie) Trent (Karen) and Rocky Biggs.
