Coye Dean Gray Sr.

Throughout his working life, Coye carried himself with steady purpose and quiet competence, serving as a proud Shrimp Boat Captain and later a Tugboat Captain—roles that reflected a life shaped by responsibility, discipline, and the respect earned through consistent leadership.

Left to cherish Coye's memory are his wife, Jeannie Music Gray; his children, George Gray and wife Sharon, Carol Gray, Dean Gray Jr, Angel Cowley and husband Duane, Ronnie Dunn and wife Ruby, and Duwayne Dunn and wife Tonya; as well as numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin sister, Jean Sundie and his brothers, Mike Gray and Jimmie Byrd as well as many other family and friends.
