Daryl Dene Barber

Born and raised in Freeport, TX; Dene attended Brazosport High School. He spent his years to follow, serving in the National Guard, The Lake Charles Police Force, Holiday Lakes Police Force, and Surfside Police Force. For the past Seven and a half years, he has spent countless hours alongside his brothers and sisters of the Brazoria Fire Department, and Eleven years with Infinity construction at BASF. He had a passion for helping others, and never met a stranger. Those who knew him truly loved him. He was an amazing Husband, Father, and Pawpaw.

Dene is survived by his wife, Cindy Barber; siblings, Bill (Donna) Barber, Gail (Bob) Schultz, and Paul (Elena) Barber; children, Mark (Danielle) Barber, Brandon (Courtnay) Barber, Samantha (Tony) Gonzalez, Melvin (Jennifer) Barber; grandkids, Maxx Barber, Hunter Gonzalez, Lacee Bindert, Ellie Barber, Emily Barber, Lylah Barber

Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Saturday December 16, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church in Brazoria on Sunday December 17, 2017 at 1:00pm, followed by the Graveside Service at Restwood Memorial Park

Serving as Pallbearers are Mark Barber, Brandon Barber, Melvin Barber, Tony Gonzalez, Dene Johnson, Dwain Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Allen and Paul Barber.
