

David was born on July 28, 1955 in Saline, Michigan to James and Neddie Dyess.
David is survived by his wife of 22 years, Fabiola, and three children: Natalie Dyess (Beau Nelson) of Amarillo, Texas; Kimberly (EJ) Sohrt of Brazoria, Texas and Joseph Dyess of Austin, Texas. David is survived by his two grandchildren: Kamrynn Moore and Kayden Bice, both of Brazoria, Texas. He is also survived by his sister: Gail (Glen) Wilson of Bassfield, Mississippi and brothers: Bill Dyess of Meridian, Mississippi and Danny (Denise) Dyess of Sumrall, Mississippi and numerous nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents, James and Neddie Dyess.
David worked for 35 years as an Electrician before his retirement.
David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. David was raised in Bassfield, Mississippi where he played baseball and enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Holiday Creek. He later moved to Texas where he started his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors and spent his weekends with his daughters at the beach or WaterWorld. His son was the highlight of his later years where he was able to watch him excel in academics and go off to college to pursue his future career. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sports and telling them stories about his younger years with his siblings.
The family will hold a memorial on Sunday, November 5th in Mississippi to honor David’s life.
