

Faustina Perez, 85, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, November 4th. She was born on August 7th, 1930 in San Antonio, TX to Jorge and Trinidad Perez. She was raised in Sebastian, TX and spent most of her life in the Rio Grande Valley. Faustina was a Nurse for many years, providing medical, emotional, and spiritual support to many. After many years of working in several Houston area hospitals, she continued using her talent to care for many as a private home nurse. She had a magnetizing personality and never met a stranger. She was a woman of profound faith and lived her life accordingly. She lived to serve God first and foremost with the hope of an eternal life in his kingdom. She contributed all that she had to several religious organizations, charities, and missionaries.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and Hector Gonzales, her grandchildren, Hector Angel, Michael Anthony, Amber, and Crystal Gonzalez, her siblings, Bernardino Perez, Eliseo Perez, and Christine Dubuque, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9am to 10am on Saturday, November 21st, 2015 at St. Jerome Catholic Church (201 N. Lazy Lane, Clute, TX) with a Sacred Funeral Mass starting at 10:30am, presided by Father James Lynes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Restwood Funeral Home in Clute.
