James (Jimmy) Michael Myers

James Michael Myers (Jimmy), 61, of Brazoria, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2021. Jimmy was born on July 10, 1960, in Pascagoula, Mississippi to the late Kenneth (Jerry) Sr. and late Evelyn S. Myers.

Jimmy graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He retired from Shell, where he worked as an IT Manager for 36 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Jimmy enjoyed vacationing with family, hunting and fishing with his two sons, being on the water, and entertaining family and friends. He was a member of the Greenwood Gun Club.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 40 years Tammie, two sons, Brandon Myers (wife Amanda and son Colby James) and Jeremy Myers (wife Holly). He is also survived by his brother Kenneth (Jerry) Myers, Jr. (wife Diane), sister Linda Myers Dugas, brother John Myers (wife Jacquelynne), sister Brenda Brown, and sister Sheila Myers Maheu (husband Mark). He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law AJ and Jeanette Tassin, brother-in-law Anthony Tassin (wife Lori) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, Louisiana on October 27, 2021 at 10:30am.
