Jennifer Cash San Miguel passed into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday morning, July 22, 2016, in Houston, Texas, following a lengthy illness. Jennifer was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, on September 20, 1969, and before one year of age moved with her family to Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She graduated from high school in Bartlesville and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She moved to Lake Jackson, Texas in 1995 and later graduated from the University of Houston with a BS degree in Computer science. She was employed by Dow Chemical Company as an IT manager.
Jennifer married Jose A. San Miguel III on August 11, 2002, in a beach wedding in Key West, Florida, accompanied by her parents and her daughter, Brooke Cowan Adamo. Following the wedding, they resided in Lake Jackson.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her younger sister, Kimberly Paige Cash; she is also preceded by her daughter Bella Shea San Miguel.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jose A. San Miguel III of the home; her parents Larry Joe Cash and Patricia Tidwell Cash of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; her sister Kelly Cash Lynn of Gautier, Mississippi; and two daughters, Brooke Cowan Adamo of Ft. Worth, and Baily Bree San Miguel of the home. Additionally, Jennifer leaves behind her extended family, Jason Cowan and his wife and children, who called her “Mama Dos.” The marriage of Jennifer’s daughter, Brooke, to Aaron Adamo last year brought two wonderful grandchildren, Barbee and Hope, ages three and two, into Jennifer’s family. These two beautiful children called her, “Precious.”
Jennifer’s wide circle of friends across the country, included class mates, sorority sisters, home school mothers and fellow believers in Christ. Second only to her enduring faith and love of family, Jennifer had a passion for the beach and some of her happiest times were spent there. Her family plans to gather at the beach in Panama City, Florida, soon to celebrate her life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 29 at 1:00 pm at the Brazos Pointe Church in Lake Jackson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to The March of Dimes or to your favorite charity.
