Jesus Trevino

Jesus Trevino, of Lake Jackson, passed away September 28, 2013 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Restwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 4 at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. A visitation at 1 p.m. will follow the service at the funeral home followed by interment at Restwood Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jesus was born in Valle Hermoso, Mexico to Emiliano and Chonita Trevino. Jesus worked as a minister for 40 years serving churches of Christ in Reynosa, Mante, Port Lavaca, San Antonio, and Lake Jackson. He was instrumental in starting in growing congregations throughout Mexico, Central America and South America.

He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by numerous family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father and his brother Emiliano Trevino.

Survivors include his wife Susana Trevino; his mother; son Albert Trevino and wife Yolanda; daughter Susan Trevino and husband Anexi; brother Luis Trevino; sisters Yolanda Trevino Rangel, Concepcion Garcia, Cristina Lira, Norma Flynn, Elizabeth Trevino; grandchildren Osman, Arath, and Yara Diaz-Trevino, Steven, Amy, and Albert Trevino; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
