On June 7, 2012 Julio E. Arce went to be with The Lord. Julio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born on April 12, 1951 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He married Angela Laureano on December 24, 1970. He worked as a combination welder for Zachry Inc. and was transferred to Freeport, TX in 1981. Julio was a loving, sweet and caring family man. He lived to be with his family, loved his grandchildren and loved The Lord. He was a member of Brazosport Christian Center where his testimony will always be remembered. After a two and a half year struggle with cancer, Julio has now passed on to be with his Lord and Savior. He will be remembered as a persistent fighter, even though we are sad to see him depart, we know his arrival in Heaven is a Tremendous Rejoice. Julio Arce is survived by his wife Angela; daughter, Jacqueline; son Ezequiel and wife Mimi; grandchildren Tatiana, Ethan, and Justin.
