Leandra Rodriquez, age 83, of Freeport, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. She went peacefully in her sleep with family by her side. Leandra was born February 7th, 1941 in Laredo, Texas to Margrita and Manuel Sanchez.
Leandra worked over twenty years at The Facts in the mail room, which showed how much of an independent and strong woman she was.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Rodriquez Sr., and her parents Margrita and Manuel Sanchez.
She is survived by her brother, Margarito Sanchez; her seven children, Carmen Rodriquez, Julian Rodriquez Jr., Francis Martinez, Margarita Martinez, Brigido Rodriquez, Yolanda Ceballos, and Maritza Cruz, and their spouses. She is also survived by her twenty one grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren, and twelve great, great grandchildren who all held a special place in her heart.
A visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held the next day, Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 at Restwood Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. followed by burial.
