

Lola Elsie Clements was called by the Lord to enter into eternal rest on February 11, 2011. She was 94 years old and was born on August 19, 1916 in Paducah, Texas. Lola was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Fronie Curley, by her husband of 39 years Elbert Herman Clements, and by her only son Olen Clayton White. Lola worked at Spartan Aircraft Company in Tulsa, OK for 15 years and later attended school to become a beautician. She worked at the Pink Angel Beauty Salon for 25 years and after retirement, worked part time at the Sheridan Terrace Retirement Center Beauty Salon for 10 years. She then retired a second time at the age of 82. She was a member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church for 50 years in Tulsa, OK. She is survived by her daughter Donna Vanscoy and her husband Don and their daughter Jennifer. Lola also had four other grandchildren: Daniel Keith White of Broken Arrow, OK and wife Carol and their children Jackie, Jennifer, Jeff and Mike and great-great grandchildren Andrew, Christy and Ryan; Terri Dibos of Broken Arrow, OK and her husband Eddie and their children Lori and George and great-great grandchildren Kayla and Kara; Joanie Waddell of Owasso, OK; and Debbie Terrebonne of New Orleans, LA and her husband Kirby and their children Felicia and Sadie and great-great grandchild Kaden. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses of Angleton Danbury Hospital who took special care of Lola during her final days. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, TX. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrrangments in Tulsa are under the direction of Moores Southlawn Funeral home, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
