Mary Louise Baker, 86 years old, of Lake Jackson, TX., began rejoicing in Heaven on August 30, 2019. Mary was born to Salyer and Annie Thompson on September 12, 1932 in Giddings, TX. Mary married Steve Baker in Houston, TX on August 20, 1952.

Mary was from a large family. She was one of nine children and she raised five children, four sons and a daughter. In later years she volunteered at Brazosport Memorial Hospital and Habitat for Humanity as well as The Food Basket. She was a volunteer tutor at the youth home for several years. Mary was involved with extended family and always managed to stay busy.
