Mickey Lou Lowry

Mickey Lou Lowry, 66, of Brazoria TX was awarded everlasting life on March 4th 2015. Mickey was born on October 25th 1948 to Milton & Martha Wood in Runnels TX. Mickey married Jimmy Lowry in Brazoria TX in October of 1974.

Mickey served in her career as a nurse, using her talents to help others. She was proud of her family, an active member of the FFA, she loved being outdoors – especially fishing – and loved to laugh and was very quick of wit. She loved animals, but her ‘grand-dog’ Taz had a special place in her heart.

Mickey is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Mickey is survived by her special companion of more than twenty years, Jimmy Henkes; her son Chad (wife Nettie) Lowry; son Jimmy (wife Ann) Lowry; her beloved Aunt Dema “Fay” Hoots; her grandchildren Jhon (wife Brittany) Brumley, Shane (wife Leslie) Brumley, Shyann (fiancée Justin) Shumaker, Craig Lowry, Shelbie Kelly, and Jackson Lowry. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Jhon Jr., Jeremiah, and Kinsley; as well as five siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the many care givers who spent their time with Mickey helping her live life to the fullest.

Services will be held Saturday March 7th 2015 at Restwood Funeral Home with a visitation at 3pm and a funeral service at 4pm.

Mickey will be laid to rest in Restwood Memorial Park.
