Monico was born, May 4, 1964 in Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua Mexico to Candelario and Bertha Bailon. He moved to Texas where he met and married Demetria Gonzales and had three daughters, Karyn Gomez, Leslie Bailon and Adriana Bailon.
He is survived by his wife, Demetria Gonzales Bailon, three daughters; Karyn Gomez (and husband Rene), Leslie Bailon, and Adriana Bailon. Three grandchildren; Kaiden, Karlie and Kian Gomez. Also his mother Bertha Bailon, and nine brothers, and sisters; Manuela Bailon, Luis Bailon, Carlos Bailon, Martha Alvarez, Daniel Bailon, Miguel Bailon, Mario Bailon, Arturo Bailon, and Brenda Bailon Carrasco, and twenty-four nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life and home going will be held at Restwood Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Service will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restwood Memorial Park.
