Ricardo Alvara JR. (Pelon) age 23, of Freeport passed away February 28, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was born December 9, 1988 in Galveston, TX to Ricardo and Ofelia Alvara. Ricardo had a passion for fishing, music and family. Ricardo is survived by his wife Maria Ilse “Serrano” Alvara and his son Romeo, daughter ,Emmily Isabel Alvara of Freeport. Parents, Ofelia & Ricardo of Freeport. 4 sisters, Maria Susana Guevara & husband Raul, Maria “Connie” Cruz & husband Angel, Doris Caloca & husband Ruben, Karina Reyes & husband Jose, all of Freeport. Uncles, Silverio & wife Kathy of Houston. Augustin Arroyo & wife Rosa of Freeport. Aunt, Beatrice Arroyo & husband Monico of Lake Jackson. Numerous other aunts and uncles all out of state. Many more Nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to express gratitude and appreciation to MD Anderson Hospital and their Doctors, Nurses and Hospice department. A Mass Service to celebrate his life will commence at 2:00pm Friday, March 2, 2012 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Clute, Texas. Burial will follow service at Restwood Memorial Park, Clute, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday March, 1, 2012 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm at Restwood Funeral Home Chapel. Your thoughts and prayers are welcome and very much appreciated.
